Live By Living retreats and day trips are free for all participants. If you enjoy our programs, and especially if you loved our retreats, we do ask that you pay it forward. How can you do that? There are several ways.
SPREAD THE WORD: Make it your mission to convince 2 or 3 other survivors and caregivers to attend their first LBL retreat. Still getting treatments or checkups? Tell your care provider what a great time you had! Ask them if they have any Live By Living brochures, and if not, let us know so we can send them some.
VOLUNTEER: We are an all-volunteer organization. We need help doing just about everything from social media marketing to chopping vegetables. Check the volunteer page (see the button at the top of this page) for details on how you can help.
DONATING/FUNDRAISING. If you like to support charities, and can afford it, please consider donating to Live By Living so another survivor or caregiver can attend one of our retreats. Last year, each Live By Living retreat cost about $125 per person (counting food, hut rental and insurance). You can donate using Paypal on our donate page, or by writing a check to “LBLF” and sending it to us at 2381 S. Lupine Street, Lakewood, CO, 80228. Live By Living is a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
We also need help fundraising. There are many opportunities here, from creating a fundraising page in connection with a 5K, half-marathon, or other event you might be registered to do, to grant writing, to asking businesses and individuals to donate.
