Live By Living Day Hike: Shanahan Ridge with Avanti Therapy. Tuesday, Feb. 27

Join us on Tuesday, February 27th at 4:30 PM for an MODERATE hike at Shanahan  Ridge Short Loop Trail in Boulder co- sponsored by the Boulder Cancer Survivorship Program at Avanti Therapy.  This is a beautiful hike that is mostly through Ponderosa Pine trees.  Join us for great hike with new friends, exercise and beautiful nature.



As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers, men and women.  Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we’d love to have you join us.  If you’re uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please call us at 303-808-2339, and we can help you decide.



DAY/DATE OF HIKE:  Tuesday February 27, 2018


MEETING TIME:      Meet at 4:30PM, we will be walking by 4:45 PM at the latest.          


RETURN TIME:        5:45 PM to 6 PM                               


MEETING PLACE: Meet at the trail access point where Leigh and Lafayette streets intersect.  There is no designated parking lot you will need to park on the street in the neighborhood.


DIRECTIONS TO MEETING PLACE:  Take Table Mesa Drive west to Leigh Street, go south on Leigh Street and park near the intersection of Leigh and Lafayette Street.




DISTANCE:   2.5 miles

  1. Rain jacket (and pants)


  1. Clothing appropriate for the weather


  1. Water


  1. Trail snacks


  1. Sunscreen/sunwear/lip balm/sunglasses
