Join Kathy Foster on Sunday, April 21, for an Easy 2.3 mile loop hike at Ute Valley Park Trail in Colorado Springs. This hike will allow us to enjoy beautiful mountain views on a relatively level trail with interesting stone features.
As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we’d love to have you join us. DAY/DATE OF HIKE: Sunday, April 21
MEETING TIME: 10 a.m.
RETURN TIME: 12:30 p.m.
MEETING PLACE: Ute Valley Trail Head on Vindicator between Rockrimmon and Centennial.
DIRECTIONS TO MEETING PLACE: Woodmen west to Rockrimmon. Right on Vindicator. About a mile to Ute Valley Parking Lot past Middle School. Rockrimmon west to Vindicator. Turn left on Vindicator. Ute Valley Parking Lot past the Middle school on the left side of the road. Or, GOG to Centennial. North to Vindicator. Turn Right about ¾ mi to Ute Valley Parking lot on the right side of the street.
DISTANCE: 2.3 mile loop
ELEVATION GAIN: No more than 300 feet overall.
HIGHEST POINT: 6,585 ft.
