Join us Tuesday afternoon, June 20, for our ongoing walking program co-sponsored by Lutheran Hospital. Our path through Crown Hill Park is an EASY 1.2 or 2.4 mile walk (one or two loops). This walk in the park is on a paved path that is basically level. It offers great mountain views and a good chance to see some migratory birds at Kestrel Pond.
This is a repeating series of walks at several different parks on the west side of the metro area. The walks get progressively longer from week 1 to week 4, then we start over. The rotation will include: Crown Hill Park, Van Bibber Park, Belmar Park and Berkeley Lake. Each walk offers the opportunity to go for extra loops, so really anyone can join at any time. This is a great series to help you get ready for one of our retreats (check out the retreats on the link, and sign up soon)!
As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers, men and women. Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we’d love to have you join us. If you’re uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please call us at 303-808-2339, and we can help you decide.
