Live By Living Day Hike: Lutheran Hospital Walk in the Park series: Belmar Park, Tuesday, August 15

Join us Tuesday, August 15, for an EASY walk in Lakewood’s Belmar Park as part of our Walk in the Park series in conjunction with Lutheran Hospital.  Belmar Park hosts great blue herons, egrets, cormorants, and other birds, and has some great views of the foothills and lovely trees. The trail is well-packed gravel and level, and is suitable for people in wheelchairs.  This loop trail is about one mile long. We’ll do a second loop for anyone who is interested.

This is a repeating series of walks at several different parks on the west side of the metro area.  The walks get progressively longer from week 1 to week 4, then we start over.  Each walk offers the opportunity to go for extra loops, so really anyone can join at any time.  This is a great series to help you get ready for one of our retreats (check out the retreats on the link, and sign up soon)!

As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers, men and women.  Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we’d love to have you join us.  If you’re uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please call us at 303-808-2339, and we can help you decide.
