Live By Living and Boulder OSMP (Open Space and Mountain Parks) have partnered to offer:
Cancer Survival Series: Nature is Healing!
Join Us Every Saturday March 30 – April 27
10:00 am-12:00 pm
Saturday, April 6:
Deep Survival: Prepare Mind & Body for Any Situation
Join OSMP Ranger Dave Gustafson for this presentation and discussion based on Laurence Gonzales’s book “Deep Survival.” Used for training by the US Navy, wild land firefighters, police departments, emergency responders and other agencies, we’ll learn how to prepare your mind for the worst of any situation. Find out how your body and mind react in high stress situations and what you can to do to help stay in control.
Join Live By Living and OSMP to experience the benefits of time outdoors. In this series we’ll explore how getting outside and in nature can help with reducing pain, social isolation, and many of the effects of surviving cancer. This program is geared towards anyone impacted by cancer. Sign up for one or all of these great opportunities to help you heal with deepening a connection to the natural world.
As always, Live By Living events are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we’d love to have you join us. If you’re uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please call us at 303-808-2339, and we can help you decide.
